Our Teachers

Gen Kelsang Chögyan is the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Montreal. She studies and practices Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years under the guidance of her teacher Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. In a practical and accessible way, Gen Chögyan presents the methods that allow us to improve our human nature and our inner qualities so we can develop the capacity of our mind.

Her joyful presence inspires us to put meditation and Buddha’s teachings praticable with loving-kindness.

Gen Kelsang Chögyan teaches the general program classes in French on Monday evenings and Wednesday evenings as well as the Foundation Program [FP] and the Teacher Training Program [TTP] (also taught in french). She also teaches various events on the weekends.

They all practice the buddhist path and are active and devoted volunteers at the heart of our community. Below are teachers who teach classes in English. For all teachers teaching in French, see Nos enseignants
