Foundation Program
Kadampa Meditation Center Montreal offers the Foundation Program in French only. However, it is possible for English-speaking people to participate by correspondence in the program offered by Kadampa Canada Meditation Center in Toronto.
The Foundation Program is designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding and experience of Kadampa Buddhism, through a systematic study of six texts by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. When you join, you will experience great benefits of being part of this study program. Through it you can improve your good heart, your wisdom, and cherishing others by deepening your study and meditation practice.
Enrolment is required for this program. It is strongly recommended to have attended the General Program (i.e. weekly classes) regularly for a minimum of 6 months before joining the Foundation Program. It is also recommended, if possible, to enrol at the beginning of a new book or a new section of the book.
We are a non-profit organization. All proceeds go directly to the International Temples Project, dedicated for world peace.
