Special weekend course with Guest Teacher Gen Samten Kelsang • Taking and Giving: a Meditation Practice for our Times

-
During this special weekend course, Gen Samten will teach us an incredible method for elevating the simple act of breathing into a powerful action of transformation and healing. Through the practice of taking and giving mounted on the breath, we'll experience an uncommon mental peace and happiness, naturally enhancing our love, compassion, concentration and wisdom. In this way, our every breath can give profound meaning to our lives.

WHAT DO WE REALLY WANT?
Everyone whether religious or non-religious is looking for happiness all the time and wants to be free from suffering and problems. We usually depend upon external things to make us happy – our relationships, our health, our reputation, our career, to name just a few. By practicing meditation we can come to understand and experience that it is our mind, not other people nor circumstances, that determines how happy we are.
These classes are suitable for everyone and are an ideal introduction to meditation and modern Buddhist teachings.
